I never thought I'd say this, but I'm a big fan of playsuits at the moment. I always thought they'd look unflattering on me and that they'd be uncomfortable because of the shorts element. I have several issues when it comes to shorts... maybe that's a topic for another blog post. However, I've bought two playsuits in the last few months and they're actually very slimming and very comfy. They're not restrictive at all and there's loads of room in the leg area, so you actually feel as if you're wearing a dress rather than a playsuit.
I bought the playsuits with the intention of wearing them on holiday, but they also look nice with leggings and my Ugg boots so I can wear them in this country too without flashing too much bare leg. Bonus!
Has anyone else discovered playsuits this spring/summer? Can anyone recommend any more nice ones for me?
Playsuits are one of those things that I never even bother trying on cos I assume they won't (play)suit me. Maybe I should give them a go... Xx
ReplyDeleteI honestly wouldn't have touched them with a bargepole a few months ago because I thought they'd be unflattering, but they look nice :) And they'd look better on you than on me because you're taller! x
DeleteThese are both gorgeous, lucky you! I went through a phase of playsuits a couple of summers ago, and quickly fell out of love with them after I bought a poorly cut Primark one which just wouldn't flatter anyone! x
ReplyDeleteTell me about it... Primark put me off playsuits in the first place because I tried one on there which was awful. The two I've bought fit really nicely, maybe you could try New Look or Debenhams :) x
